What I'm upto now

New year, new art......landscapes, portraiture. Watch this space, above is my first painting of 2011, thanks to Scott Fouronenine for permission to use him as my model.

I have two students at the moment. Lyn, a business woman,  who is becoming more confident in her watercolour study and Charmaine, a happy teenager, who is growing in confidence with mixed media, working big and bold.

I also work with adults with learning disabilities, I take along my case of art 'stuff' and we spend time creating and laughing, it's great.

'Funky Harwich'
I'm still working on my style for landscapes, I love the trees but the rest is not working for me so I shall paint on........

Well the furniture is on its way. Below is the lid of the chest, full pics to follow:

Transcription of Botticelli's 'Mars and Venus' a great favourite.

Well its Halloween and I have to say I've been on quite a journey. My Thyroid packed up just as I gave up smoking!! There have been some sorrowful moments, friends have lost relatives and relationships have been strained....phew. But all is well now, thank goodness. Below is a reflection of how it was.

I am about to hold an exhibition in Old Harwich at the Artisttree Gallery from 11th November for a few days, am looking forward to it.
